Abstract | ||||
The research aims to identify the visual perceptual speed and its relationship with some physical abilities of female handball goalkeepers, the relationship between visual perceptual speed and some physical abilities of female handball goalkeepers, For the descriptive approach using statistical analysis, visual perceptual speed test (matching visual shapes quickly), physical ability tests (sprinting 16 meters to the substitution zone - Reaction with Ballon - defending with arm and foot from the side from standing - throwing balls at the wall - goalkeeper throw test) Data were analyzed using SPSS, with correlation coefficients and linear regression applied to a sample of 40 female goalkeepers from the Egyptian Women’s Handball League (aged 18–30 years). The most important results showed a statistically significant inverse relationship between visual perception speed and physical ability (transitional speed). There is also a statistically significant direct relationship between the measure of visual perception speed and physical ability (coordination). The most important conclusions are that motor coordination is one of the most prominent physical abilities. It affected visual perception by 49.1%, confirming that it is a complex ability that mediates between perception and motor response, and plays a pivotal role in achieving effective neuromuscular integration. The results showed an inverse relationship between transitional speed and visual perception speed, indicating that over-reliance on physical speed may negatively affect visual information processing. | ||||
