Abstract | ||||
This study aimed to identify the intensity of exposure of Egyptian youth to marital relationship crimes as reflected in drama on digital platforms . This was achieved by monitoring the extent of exposure of Egyptian youth to marital relationship crimes, the motives for exposure, the level of attention of youth during exposure, the extent to which Egyptian youth perceive the realism of the content presented through this drama, and the impact of this on their level of fear of becoming victims. The researcher used the media survey method in its field aspect and employed an electronic questionnaire as a data collection tool, applying it to a sample of 400 social media users among Egyptian youth. The researcher reached several results in her study, the most important of which are: 1 - The study results showed a high frequency of viewing among the Egyptian youth sample of the study for digital platform dramas, with a rate of 49.5% watching on some days of the week and a duration of less than three hours at a rate of 46.3% 2- The study results indicated that the relationship between the intensity of exposure of Egyptian youth to marital relationship crimes as reflected in drama on digital platforms is influenced by exposure motivations, attention level during exposure, perception of the realism of the presented content, and some demographic variables of Egyptian youth. | ||||
