| Abstract | ||||
| This study investigates the repetition phenomenon in Nizar's collection “No Victor but Love”, the phenomenon that was clearly dominated in his poems. In addition, the researcher thinks that this phenomenon is extremely important to produce good poetry both formally and cardinally. Repetition also has more than one types including phonic repetition as an example. It also comes at different levels, e.g. at the word level and at the sentence level. The study seeks to tackle two main issues. The first one is the theoretical component of this phenomenon, whereas the second one is the endeavors to apply different types of repetition on some samples taken from the poems, which will unequivocally reflect the poet's abilities to employ this phenomenon to make it an effective tool inside the poetic text, and an aesthetic tool can make the literary text more dynamic to catch the reader's attention to fully interact with the text. The conclusion comes with the most important outcomes, and the study ends with a list of references. | ||||
