| Abstract | ||||
| The study of the operator has always been the concern of many researchers, especially late grammarians, which has led to producing many and varied works. The main focus of the researchers in this area has been the dispute over the nature of the operators, and most of their discussions have been a tug of war between two disputed views on the operators. The focus of this paper is to show the influence of the operator, both in its weak and strong versions, on linguistic structure and semantics. The theoretical part of the study is complemented by an applied on which gives this work its uniqueness. In the theoretical part of the study I tackle the explicit operators, in both their orally transmitted or standardized documented form, making clear distinction between the strong and the weak version. I also tackle the implicit factors, which I prove to be weak operators and justified this description and the barriers that deactivate the operators based on the the separation between the operator and the elements operated on, showing the nature of the separating elements. I include in the study 13 cases in the Arabic grammar. The applied section of the study mainly focuses on Lamiyatu L-a'ajam by Tughra'aiy and follows the same approach in the theoretical section where I start with explicit operators including various forms of the operator verbs as used in Lamiyatu L-'ajam, the derivative forms, the implicit operators, the various forms of prepositions, and finally the explicit operators. I have cited different lines of versefrom Lamiyatu L-'ajam to validate my hypotheses. In the concluding part of the work, the researcher cites the main results.
