Abstract | ||||
The aim of this study is to identify the family and societal factors that influence the spread of student violence in our Egyptian society. The study was conducted on a sample of 300 students belonging to four secondary schools (male technical, female technical, male general and female general) through the design of a questionnaire form, a measure of parenting methods and methods of punishment, and several statistical methods, such as: SPSS program, T. Test, contrast analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. The results of the study revealed the impact of parental treatment methods, the social and economic level of the family, the means of communication and social communication, peer groups, and methods of school punishment on the violence of the study sample of the four schools. Finally, the results indicated that student violence is related to the methods of school punishment, followed by negative parental treatment methods students, and then the peer group. | ||||
