Abstract | ||||
Purpose: To Evaluate the impact of Tele-Dentistry (TD) and Artificial intelligence(AI), their applications and trends on dental practice and oral health among a group of Egyptian dentists, parents and children. Materials and methods: Across sectional descriptive study was carried out on a group of Egyptian dentists, parents and children (n= 240). A pretested closed-ended questionnaire about knowledge, attitude and practice of TD and AI was administrated in two forms: printed form and online form (Google form). Results: it was observed regarding TD knowledge and practice that(73%)of Dentists, (58%)of parents and (28%)of children had knowledge about TD and had used it before .Regarding AI knowledge ,it was found that(54%) of dentists ,(48%) of parents and(28%) of children had knowledge about AI usage in dentistry .Conclusion: The knowledge ,attitude and usage of TD and AI were found to be satisfactory among group of Egyptian dentists, parents and children | ||||
