| Abstract | ||||
| Purpose: this study aimed to Assess the feasibility of using Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) allograft versus free connective tissue graft in preservation of the buccal plate of bone using cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT) before and after immediate implant placement. Material and Methods: Twelve patients with unrestorable teeth in the esthetic zone were selected. Patients were selected randomly and split into two groups: Group A: In which immediate implants were inserted in conjunction with Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) allograft. Group B: In which immediate implant were inserted in conjunction with free connective tissue grafts. Clinically, Patients were evaluated early at one week, three weeks and after 6 months. Radiography, CBCT was used to evaluate the thickness of the buccal plate of bone preoperative and post operative. Results: There was a statistically significant difference (at P ≤ 0.05) between the two groups through the 6 months follow-up period. acellular dermal matrix allograft group showed a less Buccal bone resorption than Free connective tissue graft group. Conclusion: Immediate implants in the esthetic zone in conjugation with Simultaneous soft tissue augmentation demonstrated favorable effects regarding the preservation buccal plate of bone. Acellular dermal matrix allograft can be an alternative to subepithelial connective tissue. | ||||
