Cone Beam Computed Tomography Versus Dual Energy Absorptiometry in Detection of Osteoporosis in Periodontally Affected Postmenopausal Females. Abstract: Objective: Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA) were utilized in this comparative study to assess and compare their diagnostic efficiency for detecting osteoporosis in periodontally compromised post-menopausal females.Materials and Methods: In this investigation, 48 postmenopausal female patients were included. They were categorised as normal based on their DEXA results: T score>-1, osteopenic: T score ≥-1and≤ -2.5, osteoporotic: T score | ||||
