| Abstract | ||||
| الملخص: اشتمل البحث على التعريف بالحافظ ابن عدي، وبكتابه الكامل في ضعفاء الرجال باختصار، ودراسة نماذج ممن اتهمهم ابن عدي ببطلان أحاديثهم، ويتضمن كل نموذج عدة أمور منها: ذكر ابن عدي للراوي ولحديثه، وتخريج الحديث مع جمع متابعاته وشواهده، ودراسة إسناد الحديث الذي أبطله ابن عدي للحكم عليه وعلى راويه، وتقوية الحديث من خلال الحكم على متابعاته وشواهده، وأحكام الأئمة المتقدمين، ومعرفة مقصد ابن عدي بالبطلان في الحديث الذي معنا، ثم جاءت الخاتمة فيها أهم النتائج والتوصيات. Abstract: This study explores the concept of fabricated hadith (ḥadīth bāṭil) as identified by the hadith master Ibn ʿAdī in his seminal work al-Kāmil fī Ḍuʿafāʾ al-Rijāl. It begins with a brief introduction to the author and his methodology in the Kāmil, then focuses on practical analysis of selected narrators whom Ibn ʿAdī explicitly accused of fabricating hadiths. Each selected case study includes several critical elements: Ibn ʿAdī’s citation of the narrator and the hadith in question, referencing and cross-verifying the hadith through related chains (mutābaʿāt) and supporting reports (shawāhid), a detailed examination of the isnād (chain of transmission) for each hadith deemed fabricated, and an evaluation of the hadith based on corroborating evidence and the judgments of earlier hadith critics. The study also seeks to clarify Ibn ʿAdī’s intended meaning when declaring a hadith “bāṭil,” which does not always signify outright fabrication in the strictest technical sense. The conclusion summarizes the key findings and offers recommendations for further research in identifying and categorizing hadiths with contested authenticity in classical works.
