Abstract | ||||
Oxidative stress plays a role in diabetic complications. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of stinging (NLP) and (NLAE) in oxidative stress status of rats with diabetic nephropathy. 1st group negative control, while other rats were injected (STZ) and glycerol to induce diabetic nephropathy, 7 groups as positive control, other six groups were supplemented with NLP and given orally NLAE at the concentration of (2.5, 5, 10%), (1, 2, 3 ml/rat) for 6 weeks. Results may help to maintain an ideal body weight. Diabetic rats fed on NLP or NLAE showed enhancement of all parameters tasted. | ||||
