| Magdi Wahba’s comprehensive examination of Mary Hays (1761–1843) life and literary legacy offers a compelling gateway into her world – a world marked by personal tumult, radical ideas, and groundbreaking literary endeavors that challenged societal norms of her time. The article highlights Mary Hays as an important but often overlooked figure in 18th-19th century literature and feminism.
