Abstract | ||||
A Program Based on Cognitive Flexibility Theory to Develop Rhetorical Appreciation and dialogue skills among linguistically brillant secondary school students, Arhetorical taste skills test and a note card for the dialogue skills necessary for students were also created. Top of Form The aim of this research was to develop rhetorical appreciation and dialogue skills among linguistically gifted secondary school students. To achieve the research objective, a list of rhetorical appreciation skills appropriate for linguistically gifted second-year secondary school students was prepared, as well as another list of dialogue skills. A program based on cognitive flexibility theory was also prepared to develop rhetorical appreciation and dialogue skills among linguistically gifted second-year secondary school students. A rhetorical appreciation skills test and an observation card were also created for linguistically gifted second-year secondary school students. The research results showed the effectiveness of the program based on cognitive flexibility theory in developing rhetorical appreciation and dialogue skills among linguistically gifted second-year secondary school students. The results recommended the necessity of including various activities in the secondary school curriculum content with diverse activities that develop rhetorical appreciation skills in light of cognitive flexibility theory, and the necessity of training Arabic language teachers before and during service on the use of cognitive flexibility theory to develop rhetorical appreciation and dialogue skills among their students.
