Abstract | ||||
The current research aims to design an interactive e-book on plain weaving and macramé art for the production of handbags using the furoshiki technique, with the goal of developing the manual skills of girls with hearing impairments. It also seeks to explore the opinions of experts and specialists regarding the extent to which the proposed book meets educational and technical standards. This research contributes to highlighting the capabilities and potential of girls with hearing disabilities, emphasizing the need to provide appropriate and stimulating learning environments. Moreover, it underscores the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in their learning methods by supporting the principle of lifelong learning through the use of the interactive e-book as an educational tool. This tool aims to enhance their manual skills, improve the quality of learning, and promote educational equity. It also helps to build their self-confidence and strengthen their ability to be self-reliant. Furthermore. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, combined with an applied study for the design of the proposed e-book. A questionnaire was used to gather the opinions of experts and specialists regarding the interactive e-book’s design and its evaluation, based on a validated checklist of educational and technical standards. The results indicated positive feedback from experts and professionals on the educational and technical aspects of the interactive e-book's design. The study recommends further applied research on the impact of interactive e-books in developing other skills, such as creative thinking and visual-perceptual abilities among girls with hearing impairments. | ||||
