Abstract | ||||
The research aimed to evaluate the digital application "Al-Mufeed in Food and Agriculture" by identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the application using the SWOT analysis method, preparing a matrix to evaluate the internal and external strategic factors of the application, as well as identifying the respondents' suggestions on improving the efficiency of using the application in agricultural extension in Assiut Governorate. The research was conducted in Assiut Governorate, and the research community consisted of 70 agricultural extension agents at the governorate level. Data was collected in two stages, using questionnaires and personal interviews, during the period from October to December 2024. The data were statistically processed using frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic means. The most important research results were summarized by extracting several strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Regarding the results of the quantitative analysis of the evaluation matrix for the internal and external strategic factors of the digital application, the total weighted scores for evaluating all internal and external factors were 3.81 and 3.35, respectively. This reflects the superior performance of the application internally and externally in the governorate. It was possible to evaluate the priorities of all strategic factors for the digital application based on the weighted score of each factor. The results also indicate several proposals for improving the efficiency of application use, the most important of which are diversifying the content of the Al-Mufeed application to meet the needs of the rural population by 88.8%. | ||||
