Abstract | ||||
Several field trials have been conducted on wheat, barley, sugar beet, faba bean, soybean, cotton, maize and rice for two successive seasons using different rates of N-, P-, K- and Zn-fertilizers. The yields of these crops were major aims which revealed the following conclusions: A. The economic yields, for winter crops, were obtained by adding the economic N-rates of 62.6, 68.9, 61.9 and 33.3 Kg N/fed. or by the economic P-rates of 31.3, 40.8, 30.9 and 46.3 Kg P205/fed. or by the economic K-rates of 46.1, 50.3, 71.1 and 44.9 Kg K20/fed. or by the economic Zn-rates of 2.81, 2.11, 4.52 and 3.76 Kg Zn/fed. for wheat, barley, sugar beet and faba bean, respectively. B. With respect to summer crops, the economic yields were obtained by the economic N-rates of 34.2, 59.6, 125.9 and 62.7 Kg N/fed. or by economic P-rates of 41.6, 53.1, 46.5 and 23.4 Kg P205/fed. or by economic K-rates of 30.2, 56.3, 58.6 and 25.5 Kg K20/fed. or by economic Zn-rates of 2.07, 2.63, 3.72 and 2.52 Kg Zn/fed. for soybean, cotton, maize and rice, respectively. C. Fertilizer-nutrient relative efficiencies (Fn'S) differed according to its type as well as field crop type and growth season. | ||||
