Abstract | ||||
Background: Hydatidosis is one of the most important, common, parasitic animal diseases in many countries around the world. Despite all these concerns, surgical operations were and still are the best solution to get rid of the disease, which increases the risk and harm of the disease and the possibility of recurrence of the infection. Objective: The effectiveness of plants extracts for Cinnamomum on smashing the protoscoliosis cells and avoid repeat the infection. A common medicinal plant, Cinnamomum, which has proven its ability to eliminate many bacterial and viral pathogens. The current study investigated the effectiveness of both aqueous and alcoholic extract Cinnamomum on the biological performance and permanence of the protoscolex worms E.granulosus in the laboratory. Methodology: The use of an aqueous eosin solution (0.5)% , the vitality and movement of the protoscolex was one of the important distinguishing signs in the experiment., the percentage of vitality of protoscolex in the sample under study was calculated according to the ratio and proportion formula divided by the total number of protoscolex *100. The survival rate was then calculated after each approved exposure period, the current experiment concerned only protoscolex whose viability >90. Results: The superior of the alcoholic extract over aqueous extract in terms of time and concentration. The detection results show that the alcoholic extract contains more active substances than the aqueous extract. investigate the role of Cinnamomum extracts as protoscolex on E. granulosus and to compare its efficacy with other plant extracts. Conclusion: The extracts of Cinnamomum have the ability to destroy the protoscolex of the E. granulosus parasite, and alcoholic extract is more effective and superior to aqueous extract for plant in terms concentration and time. All extracts of Cinnamomum are good protoscolex pesticides. | ||||
