Abstract | ||||
Objective: This study aims to explore effective strategies and considerations for enhancing learning outcomes in large group teaching settings for health professions educators. Methods: A comprehensive review of literature was conducted to identify key factors influencing learning effectiveness in large group teaching within health professions education. Various pedagogical approaches, technological tools, and instructional methodologies were examined to determine their impact on maximizing learning in large group settings. Results: The findings highlight the importance of incorporating active learning techniques, fostering student engagement, and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize learning outcomes in large group teaching. Strategies such as interactive lectures, group discussions, case-based learning, and simulation exercises were identified as effective methods for promoting active participation and knowledge retention. Additionally, creating a supportive learning environment, providing timely feedback, and encouraging collaborative learning were found to enhance student satisfaction and overall learning experiences. Conclusion: To achieve optimal learning outcomes in large group teaching for health professions educators, it is essential to adopt a comprehensive approach that combines inventive teaching methods, AI learning aids, and a nurturing educational atmosphere. Further research is needed to explore long-term impact of these strategies and to identify additional approaches for enhancing learning in large group teaching settings. | ||||
