The appearance of social media applications created virtual reality worlds that people indulge in, either for entertainment or for other purposes like marketing or even getting far distant learning or treatment. Despite these benefits but is remarkably noted that the sins of these applications and virtual worlds is greater than its benefits. This research tolls the bills of the dangers of social media and virtual reality technology when specially used by psychiatric people. It is an age of cyber world where nearly all people turned to spend most of their times indulging in virtual reality worlds and social media. Being very cheap, the usage of social media is utilized even in bringing food and drinks. People even attach their homes and institutions security systems by their smart phones and pcs. They use these devices also to log in their virtual reality worlds that they create through different social media applications. Hacking became easy and always threatens people's privacy and sometimes life as in the novel under study. This research discusses how the heroine of this novel uses cyber virtual worlds to create defense mechanisms and coping strategies to pass their post traumatic disorders either positively or negatively. | ||||
