Abstract | ||||
This study deals with the comparative analysis between Egypt, Brazil and India to analyze the relationship between inward foreign direct investment inflows and institutional quality, based on the inductive approach and descriptive analysis. Gross Domestic Product of the countries under study”, based on the panel data sectional time series models, using the Autoregressive Distributed Time Lapses/ Pool Mean Group Model (ARDL-PMG), and the results reached Testing the hypothesis of the study that there is a strong direct relationship between institutional quality and foreign direct investment in the long term in the countries combined. This test also resulted in a significant relationship between the main indicator of institutional quality IQ and foreign direct investment (FDI). each country on its own. The study also recommends an increase in institutional quality indicators in developing countries to attract more foreign direct investment, and the importance of the institutional quality index as a key indicator issued by the Global Competitiveness Report that affects foreign direct investment. | ||||
