Abstract | ||||
The study supplied us with the main information about the behavior of Arabidopsis tissues when treated with copper oxide nanoparticles, which added to the medium Murashige and Skoog that represented by encouraged of the germination, changes of many morphological and physiological associated seedling growth. While when adding 0.5,1.0,1.5 and 2.0 % of polyethylene glycol to the MS media. The results proved the stimulating role of this concentration used in the seeds growth and decrease in the inhibitory effect of PEG . The results also explain the role of CuO-NPs in the callus initiation percentage and in the wet weight average values with the superiority of the MS medium added with 0.5 mg\L NAA and 2.0 mg\L BA in the initiation and growth of the callus in terms of wet weight average values after 45 days of growth which reached to 47%, for callus growing on free MS(control), which reduced the negative effect of PEG on the callus content reaching to 93.3% for the callus growing on MS solid medium containing 50 µg\ ml of them alone and 42% for the callus growing on the MS solid medium contain the same concentrations with 0.5% of PEG. Also the same effect of CuO-NPs on proteins and nucleic acids reached to 1.6 ml/ mg , 90.01 and 10.15 ml/g respectively at the same concentration of these nanoparticles. | ||||
