Abstract | ||||
This study was carried out during 2023 and 2024 seasons at Sakha Agriculture Research Station, Agriculture Research Center, Egypt. The experiment conducted to study the effect of integrated control of weeds in soybean fields, growth characters, yield components of soybean (Glycine max, L.) and determination of herbicide residues in soybean seeds. The field experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCPD) with four replicates. The results indicated that in heavy infested soil with weeds it is possible to used one from weed control treatments, metribuzin at the rate of 0.35 L/fed, which recorded the highest seed yield in 2023 season (1.66 ton/fed) and (1.58 ton/fed) in 2024 season, with an improvement of 44.34% and 57.59%, respectively. as compared to control treatment or used (bentazone + hand hoeing) or (bentazone + Fluazifop-p-butyl) also provided notable improvements, with values exceeding 41% in both sowing seasons. Which, recorded best weeds control and highest increasing of soybean seeds yield (ton/fed), and enhanced oil and protein percentages as compared to the untreated control, without any residues in seeds of soybean after harvest. | ||||
