Abstract | ||||
We can see that technologically advanced nation, which hold the top spots in the innovation indicators, control the global markets, so all countries are accelerating in their adoption of technology and innovation. As a result, innovation has become an essential competitiveness goal for all economies that are developed and developing of these. As a result, it can lead to a huge production, new products, and decrease pollution; thus, it can achieve sustainable development in the world. using panel data econometric approaches, this study attempts to investigate the relationship between innovation as an independent variable, high-tech exports, the share of R&D expenditures in GDP (Gross Domestic Product), and total patents as a dependent variable in BRICS countries.
