The study aimed for increasing the nutritional value of Azolla meal, which is utilized as fed ingredient for the Nile tilapia, applying the solid-state fermentation process using Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SFAM), Bacillus subtilis (BFAM) and a blend (SFAM + BFAM). Following a 72-hour fermentation period, the crude protein was increased in Bacillus subtilis (BFAM) followed by mix (SFAM) + BFAM), and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SFAM). A trial of feeding was carried out for ninety days to investigate the feeding response by fermented Azolla by Bacillus subtilis, mix (SFAM + BFAM) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae on responds hematological, biochemical and anti-oxidative status. Seven diets that are isocaloric and isonitrogenous were ready.T1 (without azolla), T 2 (BFAM -10%), T 3 (BFAM -25%), T 4 (SFAM -10%), T5 (SFAM -25%), T6 (Mix SFAM + BFAM -10%). And T 7 (Mix SFAM + BFAM-25%), and fed till satiation twice daily. It could be concluded that T3 (BFAM-25%) was the best treatment exhibiting the best growth performance, hematological, biochemical and anti-oxidative status for the monosex Nile tilapia O. niloticus fingerlings, followed by sequatly T7 Mix (SFAM + BFAM-25%), T5 (SFAM -25%), T2 (BFAM -10%), T6 (Mix (SFAM + BFAM -10%) and T4 (SFAM -10%), respectively. | ||||
