Abstract | ||||
Background: Adolescence is a unique stage of human development and an important time for laying the foundations of good health. For nursing students, reproductive health is particularly significant as it directly impacts their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Aim of the study Assess knowledge, attitudes regards reproductive health, knowledge, and the effect of reproductive problems on family formation among adolescent nursing female students at Beni-Suef City. Research design: Descriptive research design used to achieve the aim of current study. Sample: Included 99 nursing secondary schools using simple random sample. in nursing secondary schools in the Village of Tazmant at Beni Suef. Setting: The nursing secondary schools in the village of Tazmant at Beni-Suef City. Tool: one tool used to achieve the aim of this study is the questionnaire Sheet: which consisted of three parts to assess personnel characteristics, knowledge regarding reproductive health, and attitude regarding reproductive health. Result: The study showed that 38.4 % of the studied nursing students were in the first arrangement between sisters, 42.4% of the studied students had a good total level of knowledge, and 41.4% of the studied nursing students had a highly positive attitude of knowledge regarding reproductive health. Conclusion: there is a highly statistically significant positive correlation between the studied nursing students’ total knowledge score and their total attitude. Recommendation: Regular training programs for adolescents to improve their knowledge regarding reproductive health and increase awareness of students about the importance of reproductive health.
