Abstract | ||||
: Globalization is sweeping the world with its wings, and there is an unprecedented speed of technological, commercial and cultural exchanges. In an era of globalization that is supposed to bring societies closer together, we still see an obsession with questioning the ability of the other to progress. In this article, we criticize the idea of categorizing societies according to criteria set by the West and relate this concept to Trump's speech about Gaza, in which he expresses his desire for Gaza to become the Riviera of the Middle Orient. In this paper, we try to refute the idea that some people are incapable of progress. This idea was originally instilled by colonialism, and it has never been proven that one human group is superior to another in terms of the ability to progress. | ||||
