Abstract | ||||
Green hydrogen is an innovative solution to address the fuel shortage and power outages, as one of the main axes of the transition to renewable energy. The laws related to green hydrogen indicate the efforts made by governments and international institutions to encourage the use of green hydrogen as an alternative fuel to fossil fuels, in addition to considering green hydrogen As a clean and renewable fuel that can be used to generate electricity and power electric vehicles, laws related to green hydrogen also focus on encouraging innovation and technology and providing financial support to companies and institutions working in the field of renewable energy and green hydrogen. The world is witnessing growing interest in green hydrogen as a fundamental pillar for the transition to clean and sustainable energy sources. Green hydrogen is produced by separating water using electricity generated from renewable sources such as solar and wind, making it an ideal choice for achieving carbon neutrality goals. Egypt is among many countries currently seeking to develop national strategies to localize the production and use of green hydrogen, and has also moved to study the available opportunities to attract investments in the hydrogen production industry. | ||||
