Abstract | ||||
In this study, we examine the translation techniques used in the Spanish- to- Arabic translations of two novels by Miguel Delibes: The road (1950), translated by Bassam Yassin Rashid in (2000), and The red leaf (1959), translated by Dr. Alí Abdel-Raouf al-Bambi in (1988). Our main goal is to analyze translation techniques and highlight their impact on the translation process. We identify the most commonly used techniques and the reasoning behind them. We employ the analytical-descriptive method to draw conclusions about the extent to which the use of techniques influences the translation process and resolves the problems and obstacles that literary translators may encounter. | ||||
