Abstract | ||||
The current healthcare delivery system transforms through artificial intelligence (AI) and nanotechnology collaboration which enables real-time diagnostics and personalized treatments and predictive analytics. This narrative review examines the emerging partnership between AI-enabled nanotechnologies and nursing practice for precise patient care delivery. The review consolidates the most recent research about smart nanosensors together with AI-enhanced wound dressings and intelligent drug delivery systems and wearable biosensors. The review demonstrates how these technologies can be implemented for medical-surgical nursing practice as well as chronic disease management and infection control. The review examines in detail the ethical governance challenges alongside digital literacy issues and algorithmic prejudice and infrastructure differences which affect low- and middle-income nations. The research advocates for nurse-led technology integration through regulatory modifications and educational programs that promote discipline-wide learning and equity-based access initiatives. The research demonstrates nursing professionals can lead technological advancement to develop nanoscience and AI systems that collaborate with human-centered nursing care instead of replacing it. | ||||
