Abstract | ||||
The different solvation parameters for interaction of CuCl2 with (E)-N-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-3-(2-((3-hydroxynaphthalen-2-yl)methylene)hydrazinyl)-3-oxopropanamide [H2(o-HNA)] was studied cyclic voltammetrically.The obtained data from analysis of the cyclic voltomograms for this interaction are divided into redox, ionic, kinetic, thermodynamic and adsorption functions.The redox functions are the potential, currents for the redox peaks, number of electrons data.The kinetic functions are the anodic, cathodic diffusion parameters and electron transfer rate constants.The thermodynamic functions are the stability constants and Gibbs Fre energies of interction between CuCl2 and (E)-N-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)-3-(2-((3-hydroxynaphthalen-2-yl)methylene)hydrazinyl)-3-oxopropanamide [H2(o-HNA)].The adsorption parameters are the anodic, cathodic electrode surface coverage,anodic,cathodic quantity of electricity. Most of the paramerters obtained are increased by more adding of ligand concentration except the adsorption parameters which decrease by the increase in ligand concentration favoring good complexation reaction.Anaysisof slope values for the metal ion concentration and current intensity for the first couple of peak responsible for the precipitation of copper metal prove that the complexation reaction is fast one tending to the formation of covalent complex. | ||||
