The stela is registered under number 525 in the archaeological record of Tell el-Fara'in Buto (Middle Delta archaeological Record 46 Right). It was discovered at Buto in 1959 AD and deposited in the Buto Inspectorate store on 9/12/1959 AD. It was transferred from the Buto store to the Kafr el-Sheikh Museum based on the approval of the Permanent Committee for Antiquities on 26/7/2020, as per the report dated 19/8/2020. The stela has not yet been assigned a number at the Kafr el-Sheikh Museum, as special records are being created for the museum's artefacts. The stela is made of limestone, measuring 49 cm in length, 24 cm in width, and 5 cm in thickness. It is broken into two parts and has a semi-circular edge containing an upper section depicting the winged sun disc surrounded by two cobras. It is decorated with inscriptions and scenes, showing the WAs scepters bearing the sky sign on the right and left of the inscription above the upper part of the stela. Then, the god Horus is depicted sitting on a chair with a short backrest, holding the anx sign in one hand and the WAs scepter in the other. And before him appears a person named Tafenakht appears before him, presenting to him the field sign, followed by The overseer of singers, followed by a lower section divided into eleven horizontal lines, of which only four lines are written in hieroglyphic script. A blank cartouche appears in the first row and also in the second row, followed by seven lines that are not written on. Perhaps the inscription on the stela was not completed due to the poor condition of the stone. The stela is full of images, texts, and symbols that the research attempted to clarify and explain the reason for their depiction. From studying the previous elements, and Comparing the stela under study with similar stelae in the artistic elements it contains.
