Abstract | ||
The aim of this study was to assess the social and environmental impact of social policies targeting the protection of the most vulnerable groups and to analyze their effectiveness in improving their living conditions. The researchers employed a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized a sample survey tool. The findings indicated that these groups face social disruptions resulting from low income, which negatively impacts family stability and their ability to meet basic needs, thereby undermining the effectiveness of current social protection programs. Additionally, the study revealed that these groups suffer from severe environmental issues, such as inadequate water and sanitation services, air pollution, and high costs of essential services. Based on these results, the study recommended increasing financial support for the disadvantaged, providing employment opportunities for those able to work, improving the quality of essential services, and creating a safe and healthy living environment that contributes to improving the quality of life for these groups. | ||
