| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to monitor the impact of the TikTok application on family stability, identify the family and social problems of the misuse of the TikTok application, and reveal the mechanisms to confront the negative impact of the TikTok application on family stability. The interview guide was applied to a sample of (384) respondents from the residents of Mit Ghamr city. The results showed that the majority of the study sample believe that the TikTok application has a negative impact on family stability, that the application negatively affects the quality of family relationships and communication within the family, and that its excessive use leads to a reduction in the time allocated for direct family interaction. The results revealed the impact of the TikTok application on behaviors and decisions in the family. The results also showed the impact of the TikTok application on moral aspects within Egyptian society. Through the results of the field study, it can be noted that most of the responses obtained indicate that the impact of the TikTok application on Egyptian society is clearly evident in many areas. The results of the field study revealed the most prominent mechanisms that must be followed, which is rationalizing the use of the TikTok application, as they agreed on the need to organize the time allocated to this application and adhere to religious teachings. Social values and investing free time in beneficial activities had a positive impact. Keywords: TikTok, family, family stability | ||
