Abstract: This study proposes a comprehensive model for enhancing the professional development of teachers in Egypt, based on a comparative analysis of international experiences in Germany, the United States, and England. The research highlights the urgent need to reform current professional development systems in Egypt, which suffer from fragmentation, limited sustainability, and weak alignment with actual teaching needs. Through descriptive and comparative methods, the study examines the structures, strategies, and assessment tools employed in the selected countries, and evaluates their applicability within the Egyptian context. Findings indicate that the international models adopt long-term, flexible, and performance-based approaches, unlike the often theoretical and disconnected practices in Egypt. Accordingly, the proposed model is founded on six core principles: continuity, flexibility, digital integration, relevance, institutional collaboration, and professional accreditation. The study concludes with practical recommendations to build a national framework for professional development, promote technological integration, and align training programs with educational goals, aiming to improve teacher performance and overall education quality. | ||
