Abstract | ||
This study explores the mutual impact between tourism development and the host Nubian community. This includes the positive and negative economic impacts of tourism activity in the Nubian region on Nubia, as well as the role of Nubia, with their values, customs, and traditions, in attracting tourism and the role of tourism activity. A survey was conducted on a group of Nubians in Aswan Governorate to identify this mutual impact. The results indicate that the more positive the Nubian community's perceptions and attitudes toward tourism development in Aswan Governorate, the more this impacts their economic well-being. The study also recommends that Nubian and Aswan communities actively engage in the role of small and medium-sized Nubian tourism projects, which are beneficial to individuals and society as a whole It also recommended increasing tourist awareness of Nubia's landmarks through traditional media and electronic tools. • Conducting awareness campaigns for Nubian citizens about the importance of tourism and how to interact with tourists. • Promoting domestic tourism and reducing accommodation prices in Nubian hotels. • Encouraging investors and businessmen to invest in tourism projects in the Nubian region. • Encouraging producers and filmmakers to film in the Nubian region, given its diverse culture, unique nature, and stunning landscapes. | ||
