Abstract | ||
The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing blended learning based on smartphones, and to show the obstacles facing this practice, and the necessary proposals to overcome these obstacles from the point of view of intermediate school teachers in Riyadh٫ The study community was represented by intermediate school teachers in Riyadh, and its sample amounted to (200) teachers٫ The study relied on the (questionnaire) as a tool for collecting data٫The study concluded that the sample members were highly in agreement with the practice of blended learning based on smartphones, and that its most prominent advantages were that it allows for planning questions and facilitating effective electronic discussions٫ The study also concluded that the obstacles facing the practice of blended learning based on smartphones were high, and the most prominent of these was that it suffers from many difficulties in the systems and speeds of networks and communications in the study places٫ The study also presented proposals for overcoming the obstacles facing the implementation of smartphone-based blended learning, which received high responses from the study participants٫ The most prominent of these proposals is transforming the Ministry's blended learning units into specialized units, whereby the unit would provide all its services to support blended learning, its tools, strategies, and methods of employing it in the educational process٫ ٫The study recommended the use of information technology in education and providing all schools with internet access to provide a suitable and encouraging environment for blended learning | ||
