| Abstract | ||
| Background: Green management has become an important part of our lives, as it provides healthier healing environments for patients. Nurses' positive attitude towards green management has a direct impact on patient safety and better healthcare outcomes. Aims: Assess the effect of nursing staff green management perception on levels of patient safety at Specialized Abu-Tig Hospital. Research design: A descriptive correlational research design. Setting: This study was conducted at Specialized Abu-Tig Hospital. Subjects: The subject of study consisted of (196) nursing staff working at Specialized Abu-Tig Hospital. Tools: Green management knowledge questionnaire which consists of personal characteristics data, and green management knowledge questionnaire, and patient safety assessment questionnaire. Results: Nurses knowledge had a satisfactory level to green management (73%), and nurses' perception had a satisfactory level about patient safety related to green management (71.4%). Conclusions: Nurses had a good perception of green management and had a positive impact on patient safety. Highly statistically significant difference between (nurses’ total knowledge level about green management and patient safety level). Recommendations: Provide continuous education programs for nursing staff on green management, workplace safety and patient outcomes. | ||
