Abstract | ||
Purpose: Over the past few decades, woman’s empowerment has been a focal point of global discourse and reflection. It has become a central priority in numerous government programs and initiatives worldwide. Continued efforts have been undertaken by various countries to address this issue and enhance the socioeconomic status of women. Methodology: A quantitative research approach was used in the study, supported by the development of a structured research framework. The data collected were statistically analyzed using descriptive, inferential methods and SEM to test the proposed hypotheses. Result: The results showed the existence of statistically significant relationships between the studied factors and women’s empowerment, indicating that societal restrictions, weak institutional support, and ineffective economic policies are among the most prominent factors that re-empower women. The study recommends that addressing these challenges requires adopting comprehensive and integrated reforms at the cultural and economic levels in order to provide a supportive and stimulating environment that enables women to perform their developmental role effectively. | ||
