Abstract | ||
Technology has undergone rapid advancements, significantly impacting various sectors, with the tourism industry emerging as one of the most benefited. This research examines several key aspects, including: An overview of Cairo and Dubai as global tourism hubs, Tourist places in Cairo and Dubai, Tourism characteristics in Cairo and Dubai, Smart tourism tools in Cairo and Dubai, Technology applications in tourism in Cairo and Dubai, Smart tourism problems in Cairo and Dubai, The Role of Geographic Information Systems in Selecting the Optimal Location for Smart Tourism Applications in Cairo and Dubai, Evaluating the Status of Smart Tourism in Cairo and Dubai, The Future of Smart Tourism in Cairo and Dubai. It identifies patterns and trends, and evaluates the effectiveness of technological initiatives in enhancing the tourist experience, improving resource management, and supporting sustainable development. The main areas of focus include several findings and recommendations. The results reveal how Cairo and Dubai leverage technologies such as machine learning, the Internet of Things, and big data analytics to create an integrated and innovative tourism environment. The research highlights best practices and provides practical insights for policymakers, resource managers, and tourism industry leaders, enabling them to maximize the benefits of these technologies for tourism development.
