Abstract | ||
The current study aims to determine the relationship between environmental deprivation and language and speech disorders among children in early childhood. The study has employed the descriptive-analytical method to be applied on a sample consists of (30) children, aged between (2 - 6) years, selected purposively. The study utilized the following tools: A Data Collection Interview Form (developed by the researcher), The Scale of Environmental Deprivation (designed by the researcher), and the Language Functions Development Test, Modified Version (2) (Prepared by: Prof. Dr. Nahla Rifai: 2021) the study has reached several key findings the most important of which are: 1. There is a statistically significant relationship between environmental deprivation and language and speech disorders among children in early childhood. 2. There are no statistically significant differences between average scores of male/female children in early childhood regarding the environmental deprivation. 3. There are no statistically significant differences between average scores of male/female children in early childhood regarding the language and speech disorder. 4. There are no statistically significant differences between scores of early childhood children regarding language and speech disorder due to difference in variable of residential environment. | ||
