Abstract | ||
The study aims to analyze the role of the “Hayah Karima” initiative in achieving sustainable development through an applied study on selected projects of the initiative in Fayoum Governorate. This was carried out by evaluating its impact on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions, as well as its contribution to improving quality of life, providing basic services, enhancing integrated development, and achieving sustainability in the targeted rural communities. In preparing the applied part of this study, the researchers employed the descriptive-analytical approach. The study reached several key findings, most notably: there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the contributions of the “Hayah Karima” projects and the achievement of economic objectives; a statistically significant positive relationship between the contributions of the projects and the achievement of environmental objectives; and a statistically significant positive relationship between the contributions of the projects and the achievement of social objectives. The study offered several recommendations, the most important of which are: increasing attention to projects that promote environmental sustainability, such as waste recycling and solar energy projects; improving monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of project implementation; targeting more underprivileged villages in Fayoum Governorate to expand the scope of the initiative; and organizing awareness campaigns for local residents on the importance of preserving environmental resources and encouraging community participation in environmental projects. | ||
