| Egyptian rural villages face multifaceted challenges that span environmental, economic, urban, and social dimensions, with architecture serving as both a reflection of these dynamics and a potential solution. This study delves into the prospects of achieving sustainable development in Egypt's Delta Region through innovative architectural practices, emphasizing the intricate relationship between housing and developmental processes over time. Saryaqos village was strategically selected as a case study due to its pivotal location and active community initiatives aligned with sustainability principles. The research draws valuable insights from the village's sustainable practices. By underscoring the critical role of urban spaces in fostering social cohesion, the study proposes a holistic strategy in alignment with Egypt's Vision 2030. It advocates for a reimagining of communal spaces to address the evolving needs of residents while preserving cultural heritage. This comprehensive roadmap balances traditional values with modern necessities, offering a resilient and sustainable model for rural development in Egypt. | ||
