| Abstract | ||
| يُعَدّ الخط العربي أحد أبرز المظاهر البصرية في الفن والعمارة الإسلامية، لما يتمتع به من مرونة جمالية وقدرة على التحول من مجرد وسيلة تعبير لغوي إلى عنصر بصري يحمل دلالات روحية ورمزية عميقة. يسعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة البُعد البصري للخط العربي من خلال نموذج قبة الصخرة المشرفة، بوصفها أحد أقدم الشواهد التي تجسّد التكامل بين النص المقدّس والفضاء المعماري. يتناول البحث كيفية توظيف الخط الكوفي في قبة الصخرة باعتباره عنصرًا تصميميًّا يتجاوز الزخرفة إلى التعبير عن العقيدة والهوية، من خلال تحليل بصري وجمالي للنقوش القرآنية والزخارف الكتابية والفسيفسائية التي تزين القبة من الداخل والخارج. كما يبرز البحث العلاقة بين الشكل والمضمون في الكتابة المعمارية، وكيف أسهم الخط في إضفاء قداسة على المكان عبر إيقاعه البصري وانسجامه الهندسي مع البنية المعمارية. وفي ضوء ذلك، يؤكد البحث أن الخط العربي في العمارة الإسلامية – كما في قبة الصخرة – ليس عنصرًا زخرفيًّا فحسب، بل منظومة بصرية ودلالية متكاملة تُعبّر عن روح الجمال الإسلامي ووحدته بين الفن والعقيدة. Arabic calligraphy represents one of the most distinctive visual features of Islamic art and architecture, characterized by its aesthetic flexibility and its ability to transform from a linguistic medium into a visual element imbued with deep spiritual and symbolic meanings. This research explores the visual dimension of Arabic calligraphy through the model of the Dome of the Rock, one of the earliest monuments that embody the integration between the sacred text and architectural space. The study analyzes the use of Kufic script in the Dome of the Rock as a design element that transcends ornamentation to express faith and identity. Through a visual and aesthetic analysis of the Qur’anic inscriptions, calligraphic decorations, and mosaics adorning the dome’s interior and exterior, the research highlights the harmony between form and meaning in architectural writing, and how calligraphy contributes to sanctifying the space through its visual rhythm and geometric coherence with the architectural structure. Accordingly, the study concludes that Arabic calligraphy in Islamic architecture—as exemplified by the Dome of the Rock—is not merely a decorative feature, but rather a comprehensive visual and semantic system that embodies the spirit of Islamic beauty and the unity between art and faith. | ||
