| Abstract | ||
| This paper focuses on the design, creation, and implementation of a comprehensive antivirus application aimed at protecting computer systems from a wide range of cyber threats, including malware, ransomware, and unauthorized hacking attempts. The proposed software features a modern, user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) that simplifies operation while offering robust protection. It integrates several key security functions such as deep file scanning, real-time threat detection, automated virus definition updates, detailed activity logging, and a quarantine system for isolating and managing infected files. Beyond threat prevention, the application includes a performance monitoring module that provides users with valuable insights into CPU utilization, memory consumption, disk space usage, and network activity, helping maintain system stability and efficiency. By leveraging continuous updates from a global threat intelligence database, the system ensures proactive defense against both known and emerging cyber threats. The proposed solution successfully bridges the gap between ease of use and advanced protection by combining effective performance monitoring, efficient system resource management, and intelligent threat detection algorithms, making it a dependable cybersecurity tool suitable for both individual users and enterprise environments.. | ||
