| Abstract | ||
| تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان وكشف أسباب الخطأ في التفسير بالرأي من خلال كتاب الدكتور مصطفى محمود والموسوم بــ ]محاولة لفهم عصري للقرآن [، وقد اعتمدتُ في هذه الدراسة على تتبع أبرز مواضع الخطأ التي وقع فيها المؤلف، ثم إرجاعها إلى أسبابها العلمية والمنهجية المقررة لدى العلماء. وقد ظهر لي: أن من أبرز أسباب وقوع الدكتور مصطفى محمود في الخطأ في التفسير بالرأي إنما يرجع إلى القصور في أدوات التفسير من علوم اللغة وأصول الفقه، وغيرها، وتأثره بالثقافة الفلسفية، ونظريات العلم الحديث، وإغفاله الضوابط التفسيرية المعتمدة والمقررة لدى العلماء، فضلًا عن الميل إلى الرأي الشخصي، والاعتماد على الخبرة الذاتية. وأكدت الدراسة أن: صيانة التفسير من الزلل والخطأ لا يهدف إلى محاصرة الاجتهاد والتفسير بالرأي، بل إلى السعي والحرص على ضبط التفسير بالرأي بالضوابط التي اشترط العلماء توافرها لدى المفسر؛ حتى يصير تفسيره محمودًا مقبولًا. كما خلصُت الدراسة إلى أن: حسن المقصد وسلامة النية لا يكفيان وحدهما في إخراج تفسير صحيح للقرآن الكريم ما دام قد افتقر المفسر إلى الضوابط المنهجية الدقيقة، والأدوات العلمية التي تعينه على التفسير الصحيح للنص القرآني. وقد أكدت النتائج إلى: أن أيَّ قصور في تلك العلوم والضوابط لدى المفسر سيوقعه لا محالة في الخطأ والزلل والانحراف في تفسير آيات القرآن الكريم، ويصير تفسيره من قبيل الرأي المذموم كما سماه العلماء. لذا؛ يجب على من يُقدم على تفسير كتاب الله-تعالى- أن يكون مؤهلًا للقيام بهذه المهمة العظيمة، والأمانة الثقيلة؛ حتى يظل أثر جهده ممتدًا، فينتفع العباد بتفسيره عبر الزمان، ويكون شاهدًا له لا عليه يوم القيامة. This study aims to identify and uncover the causes of error in nterpretation based on personal opinion through the book of Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud titled *“An Attempt at a Contemporary Understanding of the Qur’an.”* In this research, I relied on tracing the most prominent instances of error committed by the author, and then attributing them to their scientific and methodological causes as established by scholars . It became clear to me that one of the most prominent reasons behind Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud’s errors in interpretation based on opinion stems from a deficiency in the essential tools of interpretation, such as linguistic sciences, principles of jurisprudence, and others. Additionally, his influence by philosophical thought, modern scientific theories, and neglect of the interpretative guidelines established by scholars played a significant role—along with a tendency toward personal opinion and reliance on individual experience. The study affirmed that safeguarding interpretation from error and eviation is not aimed at restricting independent reasoning (*ijtihad*) or interpretation based on opinion, but rather at ensuring such interpretations are governed by the conditions and standards stipulated by scholars, so that the resulting interpretation is commendable and acceptable. The study concluded that good intentions and sincerity of purpose are not sufficient on their own to produce a sound interpretation of the Holy Qur’an—as long as the interpreter lacks the precise methodological controls and scientific tools necessary for correct interpretation of the Qur’anic text. The results also confirmed that any deficiency in those sciences and interpretive guidelines on the part of the interpreter will inevitably lead to error, deviation, and misinterpretation of Qur’anic verses, making his interpretation fall under the category of blameworthy opinion, as described by scholars. Therefore, anyone who attempts to interpret the Book of Allah, the Exalted, must be qualified to undertake this great responsibility and heavy trust—so that the impact of their efforts endures, benefiting people through time, and serving as a testimony in their favor, not against them, on the Day of Judgment. | ||
