| Abstract | ||
| Field strains of the pink bollworm Pectinophora gossypiella Saund. were tested to 13 insecticides during 1990. The results obtained showed that pyrethroids were far more toxic to the pest than were organophosphates and carbamates. The descending order of toxicity at the LD50 level was cyfluthrin, fenpropathrin, alphamethrin, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, cypermethrin, S.fenvalerate, cyanophos, methomyl, profenofos, methamidophos, chlorpyriphos then thiodicarb. | ||
