| Abstract | ||
| The present investigation was conducted to determine the relative importance and contribution of cottonseed fuzz index, micronaire reading and fiber stiffness to fiber-to- seed attachment force in Egyptian cottons. Eight commercial Egyptian cotton varieties were tested and the results were analyzed by using the path coeffiicient analysis. It was found that fuzz index, micronaire reading and their interactions, were the most important characteristics related to fiber - to - seed attachment force, while fiber stiffness did not show considerable relationship to fiber - to - seed attchment force. | ||
