| Abstract | ||
| The aim of this research was to verify the effectiveness of an environmental cognitive program in helping infertile women cope with the psychological, health, and environmental stressors they experience. This program develops self-control skills and promotes effective coping strategies. The researchers adopted an experimental approach, selecting a sample of infertile women attending Banha General Hospital in Qalyubia Governorate and dividing them into two groups: an experimental group that underwent the environmental cognitive program, and a control group that was not exposed to it. The research used a set of standardized tools to measure psychological, health, and environmental stressors, self-control, and coping strategies. The pre-, post-, and follow-up measurements were applied. The results revealed the effectiveness of the environmental cognitive program in reducing various levels of stress among infertile women, improving their ability to self-regulate, and enhancing positive coping strategies compared to the control group. The results also demonstrated the program's continued positive impact in follow-up measurements, indicating its sustainability. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably: the importance of integrating environmental cognitive programs into psychological and social support plans for infertile women, and the possibility of generalizing them to reproductive health and psychotherapy centers. | ||
