| Abstract | ||
| The primary aim of this research was to explore the legal empowerment of Sinai women within the framework of the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Women 2030, by identifying the level of legal empowerment of Sinai women in the study area, determining the factors influencing this level, examining the obstacles to legal empowerment from the respondents’ perspectives, and identifying the most important suggestions for overcoming these obstacles. A systematic random sample was selected from rural household heads (women) in the districts of Al-Arish and Bir Al-Abd in North Sinai Governorate, where the total number of rural households was 3,988 in Al-Arish and 9,887 in Bir Al-Abd, and the total study sample comprised 410 female respondents (200 from Al-Arish and 210 from Bir Al-Abd). Data were collected through a questionnaire administered via personal interviews, and several statistical methods were applied to analyze the data and achieve the research objectives, including descriptive statistics, Pearson’s simple correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that a large proportion of Sinai women (69%) suffer from a low level of legal empowerment. | ||
