| Abstract | ||
| This study aims to highlight the role played by SWOT analysis by reviewing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats posed to cloud accounting in improving the performance of public commercial banks. This study also aims to assess the applicability of cloud accounting systems, which are being integrated into cloud computing systems. The study was based on a hypothetical model based on four hypotheses. A questionnaire was developed to collect application data, using the questionnaire to collect data from the research sample, which included the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and Banque du Caire. After distributing and retrieving the questionnaire, it was analyzed using SPSS. The results were analyzed and hypotheses tested. The study findings supported a clear positive impact of cloud accounting in enhancing strengths and capitalizing on opportunities, as well as a clear positive impact in reducing weaknesses and decreasing the level of threats facing public commercial banks. This can only be achieved by relying on scientific methods provided by strategic analysis tools, most notably SWOT analysis, which represents the starting point of this study. | ||
