Abstract | ||||
This research aims to evaluate remote hotel managers’ perceptions towards the possibility of using atmospheric water generator (AWG) as the latest sustainable green technologies to overcome the problem of freshwater scarcity in recent days. The research was based on three basic approaches, the descriptive in literature review, the analytical in the field study and the explanatory in interpreting and analyzing preliminary data. Primary data was collected by a survey form based on Technology Acceptance Model and Likert scale. The field study was applied to all four and five-star hotels in Marsa Alam city as one of the remote cities suffering from lack of freshwater. The results after statistical processing showed high positive perceptions and strong behavioral intentions towards the use of AWG technology. The study recommends Egyptian hotels, especially remote ones, to use this technology to radically overcome the problem of potable water. | ||||
